The groundbreaking discovery of the recorded drug education lecture delivered by Mr. Benitez in 1968, has helped show the world that a drug addiction can indeed be beat. Narconon Trois-Rivieres graduates were inspired to see that one man was able to accomplish so much. This was an individual, like many individuals attending a drug rehab who face great odds and much adversity.
Millions of people today struggle with drug and alcohol addiction, and are looking for ways to get their lives back. William Benitez took it upon himself and started a Narconon therapy group within the Arizona State Prison, to help him and fellow inmates beat their drug addiction, and regain control of their life.

It is inspiring to see life long drug addicts beat the odds, and regain abilities once lost in order to get back control of their life. Taking that first step towards total recovery is important. The graduates in this video have demonstrated this, just as William Benitez did when he started the Narconon program over 40 years ago.
