“I congratulate Ana on her confirmation as California’s first Latina director of the Department of Finance. She absolutely has the knowledge and expertise our state needs to make the challenging and tough decisions necessary in the budget process, and I am confident that with her extensive history in state finances, she will continue to be a tremendous asset to California. I applaud Senator Steinberg and the Senate for their efforts to confirm Ana.”
