Mr. Perusse brings extensive experience in representing sponsors and managers of private investment funds in a variety of asset classes, including real estate, private equity entertainment, venture capital and hedge funds. He also provides transactional and counseling work for these funds. Geoff also advises registered investment advisers on compliance and regulatory matters.
Additionally, Mr. Perusse works with entrepreneurs, banks, and technology companies based in San Francisco and Silicon Valley on financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities law issues, licensing, and other general corporate matters.
Prior to joining VLP, Mr. Perusse was Senior Counsel at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP. He has been a guest lecturer at the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, CA, and presents on securities law matters and legal issues affecting private fund managers.
