BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The catastrophic earthquakes that hit Haiti on January 12 and Chile on February 27 left both countries struggling and in need of resources and economic relief. Local teen performers and young Hollywood celebrities are unifying their talents in an effort to make a difference in these countries that have suffered great devastation. Through music, dance and laughter, Teen Artist Benefit (TAB), produced by Joe M. Loera, will become part of the worldwide movement to bring aid to the Haitian and Chilean people by raising money for the American Red Cross.
Join TAB at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at the Acme Comedy Theater in Los Angeles, as the Hollywood teen artists take the stage and share their talents for a great cause.
TAB, produced by Joe M. Loera, will be an evening filled with exciting performances by local singers, dancers, bands, and improv/sketch comedy performers. There will be special appearances by celebrity hosts, choreographers and performers from TV shows and movies such as So You Think You Can Dance, iCarly, School Gyrls, High School Musical, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Super Hero Squad Show, Secret Life of an American Teenager, to name a few.
“I’m really looking forward to participating in this cause,” says Francia Raisa of Secret Life of an American Teenager.
The Benefit will also showcase artwork created by local teen artists. “I do not have a paying job. The only way I can help the Haitian and Chilean people is by applying my gift of performing to make a difference,” says student and aspiring artist Lauren Brianna Chaves.
“It’s inspiring to see the teen artist community come together to help in the aid,” says Joe M. Loera, producer “We want to create positive ripples of motivation to raise money for these people in need.”
